The Vidadöd Performances birthed in 2017 through a personal rebirth period. These expressions began growing and came to the cathartic artwork ranging from performance art, painting rituals and tattoo sessions. Everything is a representation of experiences, transformation, surrender, strength, death of one, birth of another, acceptance, growth, love.

The first Performance in 2019 was a 3 hour painting ritual, enduring blades, needles and hooks. This was a part of the Exhausting the Body event put on by multiple Body Modifcation artists and Performance artists, many from around the world.

Since then there has been a variety of performances and rituals all across Europe. These include hook suspension, needles, blood, emotive and contemporary dance, painting rituals and more.

The current performances lean into dance movement as a journey, the voice is used, blood and grace.

It has always been the intention of Vidadöd to present elegance, beauty, softness and raw emotion alongside the more extreme blood and piercings acts, often with cathartic creams and tears. A journey that reminds us through perserverance and acceptance of pain comes growth, reflection, beuaty and peace. In a society and world where so much pain yields us, yet these emotions and notions are not deemed socially acceptable to express, we must move to art forms of expression to relate and release. We must find our own rituals and spaces to safely unleash the practise of truth. Unmasking of the ego, unmasking of the day to day, unmasking of the coping, grinding, surviving, and even thriving of capitalist life.
